Adobe Acrobat Reader: Annotate, Scan, & Send PDFs App Reviews

I’ve lost probably 3 hours of work on this, thanks Adobe. 1st prob - The fonts, size and line spacing is completely different between the iOS and OS X versions. If you start on iOS and then finish editing on OS X, you’ll get a mishmash of text size and line spacings. 2nd Prob - impossible to print from the iOS version, only prints rubbish. 3rd Prob - the Dropbox integration is worthless, once you edit a form on iOS and save it, the changes won’t apply to your dropbox version - they are only visible if you go back to iOS and open it that way.

It would be nice if when you "handwrite" with an Apple Pencil in a PDF if you could go back and erase letters and words individually.

Ive been using this app for a year or two now. Ive been using it as my DnD database. It runs very well, I can only remember a very select few times its ever crashed on me. Considering I keep over 100 documents stored on it, thats impressive

I use this app almost every day for various products I download. I love the ability to save to the cloud.

I like how they have linked Adobe with an account. Now, I can have anything saved in pdf on my laptop automatically reflecting on my iPhone app. Good work!!

I think this is a great app. I have all types of documents stored for easy access on my phone thanks to this app.

I love it ! I can update/organize and also revise anything I need on hand! And its compatible with all printers! ❤️

It works perfectly fine as a viewer. Otherwise its a terrible limited app. I like to be able to draw on the PDFs with my Apple Pencil, but the drawing tools are nonexistent. There is no way to change colors, or pen types or sizes.

Love the ability to highlight documents.

I love this app. It makes my job so easier. I get all my docs on PDF and with my I phone I can do a lot.

I can barely stand this app. I thought Adobe could easily make the best PDF app out there given how long theyve been in the PDF business. I was wrong. Annotating is a total pain. I strongly prefer PDF Expert Readdle). Even Notabilitys annotation tools are easier to use. E.g., The highlighter doesnt automatically highlight whole words, so you have to zoom in to a passage and carefully drag your finger just to get the highlighter to start/stop at the beginning/end of words — also the highlighting colors are dreadful, and highlights applied in the Reader app appear differently in other apps (e.g., highlights applied with 50% opacity in Reader show up as FULL opacity in other apps; its barely readable). Further undoing highlighting (which you have to do all the time since highlighting is so difficult in this app) is a two step process. It really seems like the developers want to disincentivize annotation or something. Like many Adobe products, the UI is below average at best (perhaps average relative to a Windows environment). The one thing that I really like: I can edit files in Dropbox and have my edits automatically saved back to Dropbox WITHOUT HAVING TO DOWNLOAD MY ENTIRE DROPBOX PDF LIBRARY TO MY PHONE — looking at you PDF Expert, Documents, etc. (Readdle). I look forward to what this app may be like in the future. Surprisingly, this PDF app just doesnt hold a candle to the the PDF apps made by less well-known developers.

Could not live without Adobe Acrobat it stores all my files and its free.

Good way of viewing documents without editing them. Serves its purpose.

Love the integration with Dropbox.

This app is extremely slow to "load" pages, no matter how many times Ive opened the document before. Wait 5 minutes, one page becomes readable. Read that, wait another 5 minutes for the next page to load. If you turn the phone, you have to start the process over. Or if you get out of the app to look at something else to do during all this waiting, the app will exit out of the doc you were in and - you guessed it - you have to wait for it to load again all the way from the beginning. This does not make for enjoyable reading.

Its working great so far. Its really a tool I can use, and Im sure you will enjoy it as well.

I never get enough of this app. They just keep evolving this and making it better and better.

I purchased full subscription; when I edit pdf, nothing saves. DO NOT BUY!!! MORE GARBAGE FROM ADOBE!!!!
