Some PDFs wont load properly

A few relatively large files (around 2 MB) that Im working with wont load most of the text in the document properly. The majority of each of the documents are loading blank with a few spots as exceptions even though in other apps, such as Google Drive, iBooks, etc., I can see the documents with all the text loaded.
