Acrobats preferences do not work. It does not match a letter-sized document to the screen size. It is much better to use Apples Preview program. The free version of Acrobat is useless.

This app does not play well with other I-Pad Apps... it is extrememly difficult to get documents into it and the adobe website is useless for any help info. basically the only way to use this app with any success is to buy a 15$ per month subscription to the Adobe Cloud service...what a waste.. save your money and go elsewhere. if this could be reviewed as negative stars it would be a minus 4
Used to open pdf files from Dropbox, but now acrobat reader always says "unable to open document"
This app does what I want it to do, which is more than I can say for iBooks. Opens PDFs, saves them locally, can make comment notes, can create folders, easy to use offline. 5 stars for making my life easier.
Can I give it no stars at all? Auto update of 16.09.20 crashes at the start page. Everything I need for work is locked up in my iPad, unless its been deleted! I cant find out though because I cant open the app! Adobe, fix this, please! You created a great app, made us completely dependent on it, now this! Its cruel... Just cruel...
guys fix it , keeps crashing!!!!
I have looked up at least 15 PDF annotator app so far. This app is by far the greatest. Integration with dropbox works perfectly. However, there is one major usability issue. In the annotate mode, once a tool is selected and used once, it immediately and automatically gets unselected. Chances are that of the user is using a tool, they are going to continue using it, even if theyre not, they should only be forced to select the tool when they wish to change it, not every single damn time. Fix this, and I will guarantee you will get the top rating. I have tried every top rated app for iPad, and hands-down you guys win, if you fix the minor usability issues.
Crashes while being used to take notes and all changes made are not saved
The whole point of this app for me was so I could use it to fill in forms, but the app does not do it. You cannot click on the box and fill out information for a form, which is very frustrating. Please rethink how your users would benefit from this.
When are we to expect a new update that will fix the crashing problem? Adobe Reader has been rendered unusable. No stars.
Thank you for making this stable again. I depend on it for making daily presentations.
Thank you for fixing the app so quickly. Works well again. Spotlight search still useless but oh well
These engineers should take a look at notability. Taking notes in Notability is simply amazing, and I wish adobe reader was at the same level (specifically for Apple Pencil). Both apps are needed, as Notability requires to import files, while reader can work directly on raw files stored, for example, on Dropbox. Example of shortcomings: - Enabling highlighter blocks vertical scroll - Undo button requires confirmation - No quick "note eraser" tool Please fix it...
This app crashes regularly and has trouble opening encrypted PDF files that were encrypted through Adobe on the computer… After about the fifth try it will eventually open up password protected content.
Easy and simple to use
hreat apps
The original and best.
Search for a document from the Reader application, and tap to open it. This displays blank screen (even the app UI elements are not rendered). Search from Spotlight does open and display the document correctly. This is reproducible on latest iPhone and iPad and iOS 10.0.2. Note that scrolling through the document list and opening a document does work.
Since last update no longer able to print. Annotations do not show up when printing. Very annoying. Have to save edited document to dropbox and print from desktop.
Works perfectly.
